Boy meets World

Just when the two dads thought that their boys can be the best buddies just like them.

(Lok & Latiff)

The abang Rain is not so friendly after all.

Okay we keep trying okay.

So Emre & Rain finally met.

"Abang Rain do you want to have a baby brother?"

His reply was, "No, no, no!"

Maybe he prefers a baby sister.

A chance for mummy to dress her in leggings.

Animals print perhaps?

A leopard will never change it's spot.

So the fasting month is here.

It means weeks closer for us to celebrate our lebaran.

A new colour theme to choose from.

Let's ask Rain to choose, oh yah we have not tailored or purchase our outfits yet.

There is always a last minute tailor I guess, my mother.

As usual I do not fancy being well organised, so can I leave it to the very last minute?

At least we manage to get new curtains this year.

Talking about curtains, I bought matching duvet cover and matching baju tido hokay!!

Do I really need to camouflage?!

Oh yes so that Rain cannot find his mummy and leave her to sleep in peace in the mornings!!

While normal people shopping lists consist of baju kurung, kuih tart & etc.

I am clueless of mine.

For now.

Shopping List:

3 animal prints top
1 animal prints hairband with ribbon

The joy of being an astronaut, I can find several animal prints clothing on the moon.

I guess Earth people are against animal testing. (takde makna seh!)

What is with me and animal prints heh?

Oh well, if you failed to notice I am still in the process of educating Rain.

Star wars

One bright hot Sunday, I gather some friends for a game on the field.

We all played soldiers.

The objective of this game was to shoot the cones down and then collect the items to be brought back to base & finally plant the flag.

However if you get shot you have to return to base and renew your life.

You really think that was it?!

Obviously No!!!

While trying to win the game we simply enjoy shooting one another.

Oh even the designated camera man got shot!

They say pictures paint a thousand words.

I would say the paint has painted our Sunday with happy bruises.

Paintball @ red dynasty

Thanks to the all soldiers for a spontaneous time!

Total 9 participants:

Earwan, Azlan, Azan, Ernie, A.L, Alice, Raimi, Omar & Farah.

Drive-thru

The part where I drive everyone crazy with

my endless mak nenek stories, it can be rather annoying.

I have to agree on that fact.

However life is simply too short not to be heard.

But that is not the point that I am driving at.

Most of the time, I drive A.L crazy with my super duper driving skill.

By now he must have gotten used to it.

I am not just talking about my A.L,

most men behaves like a driving instructor whilst their wife is driving.

It can be annoying,

pretty much worst than enduring my endless mak nenek whining.

They re-route your way like a free wireless navigator without fail.

For some you may expect a wireless signaling system telling you to turn left or right!

Finally when you reach your destination, they transform into the reverse camera/sensor whilst you try to park.

Annoying isn’t it?

I am proud that I passed my Singapore Driving License years ago within 3 months in just one attempt!

I am sure plenty of capable woman are able to do so!

I am not the only one.

Back to the point where I am driving at, I have to admit that my sense of judgment can be quite off!

The incapability to judge, does not disabled you!

However I believe women probably drives well when they are on their own.

Give us a break!

So husbands/fiancée/boyfriends out there, do you sound like my yellow bird at home?

Or maybe when you come across a lousy driver, do you say the infamous line ever.

“Must be a woman driver lah ni!!”

You go figure!

Star seach.

I keep on complaining that earth is filled with nasty people.

Let me do myself a favour, why not I start reflecting it back on myself.

Maybe you should too.

I classify kind people under the limited editions.

Yes world, a kind soul gave up her off days so that, the family can wear matching colourful outfits this 1st of Syawal.

Thank you.

So let's brace the fasting month first.

Ironically this has never been easy for me.

I can starve myself to death just to fit in that killer dress but when it comes to fasting there seems to be plenty of distractions.

Must be the hungry ghosts in me.

So this is going to be a season of seeking for forgiveness isn't it?

Honestly I have a list.

Who knows, you may be on my list :)

I may have a long list.

Oh well world I am just being honest.

Good night.

www.jobsearch.com

Dear world I am hoping for a new opportunity to start a new career.

I know this may not be a good time, but I do hope for a miracle.

Shall I start with a resume, please help.

The last time I had a job interview was to be a home planner. (stay at home wife SAHW)

The starting salary was not that fantastic but my employer is really a kind man.

There wasn't alot of household chores to be done as he is a very clean and neat man himself.

In fact I was not lack of anything and he worked very hard back then so that he can give this employee the extra bonuses.

Thank you.

However, as soon as I fit into the astronaut suit, I tender my resignation as a home planner.

Honestly being an astronaut is the best deal I can ever dream of.

However it breaks my heart when the boys are down with a temperature and they are missing dat imaginary home nurse with that imaginary sexy nurse uniform.

And where was I when a close childhood friend loses a family member?

My heart feels for my friend.

So am I ready to be of service on earth.

Do I have a resume ready?

Big question mark, are there any openings at this point of time.

Wait, let me pop a melatonin first.

I probably talk more sense when I am not fighting with moon time.

And I probably sleep better with my boys around.

Good night world, I miss Earth.

The boy in me

I remember growing up in oversized tees and shorts.

Perhaps daddy always wanted a boy.

I do not remember mum dolling me up like a princess.

Now being a mother myself, do you think it will be a great opportunity for me to doll Rain up?

Nope I shall not do that, these days I let Rain choose what he likes to wear.

I shall not make Rain a fashion victim of mine.

He shall be responsible of his own fashion statement!

I am responsible for my own.

After all, I did not fail to notice that Singapore is blessed with summer throughout the 365 days.

So let’s concentrate on the summer collections.

I probably won’t understand it because boys do not have much to accessorize, I may understand better if we are blessed with a girl in the near future.

So abang Rain, if you have a younger sister shall we dress her in tank top & torn jeans. (The jeans is torn thanks to the fat brother)

1. Let’s spare her from the ribbon besar on the forehead especially for infant. (Head band eh tu/ rimaskan!!)

2. Let’s spare her from the “silk stockings”! (Whatever they call it, panaskan dah macam sarung nangka)

I wonder if its some form of gender indications or we are just victims of the trendsetters.

Oh well in future when I have a baby girl I will probably understand.

Another reason could be, I am not that exposed to the latest fashion, traveling to the moon somehow has failed to educate me much.

Can someone pass me the latest fashion magazine!

I believe I am so passé.
