I am now in the comfort of my room, actually it belongs to the hotel. The astronaut is still not back home.

Enjoying my Tropicana 100% grape juice drink, I am watching Portugal play against the Koreans. It's damn irritating when the commentator is speaking in a foreign language. Me no understand lei!

I will be back home, the mission to the moon will head back to Earth. The astronaut can't wait.

I am actually looking forward to the 24th, I hope the plan goes well. At least I am not in charge of the tickets, I guess it will be safe & well planned.

No don't get me wrong, I am no princess who waits for food to be served on the table. It's not easy managing time as an astronaut & a mummy. You tend to realise only a great true friend may understand your situation.

Thank you guys, for running around/applying leave/smsing one another. I really hope the little boys will enjoy it.

The astronaut has safely landed on the moon. The part where the "wayang kulit make up" is desperately in need of the precious make up remover.

That's life of the astronaut, probably, you don't need to be one, to make a drama out of your make up eh?!

Right now, I am in the comfort of the king size bed, in another part of the universe ready to bid goodnight to the world.

Free wifi encourages meaningless entry heh! However the picture below is priceless to see Rain enjoying the home cooked food!

Photobucket

I miss home cooked food too! Please take note I am not the recommended chef, however I am pretty good with my heating up skills.

The microwave can vouch for me. Till I heat up this space again. Good night world:)

I was thinking, since I have wasted 90 minutes of my beauty sleep watching disappointing England play, why not a few minutes for an update. When sleep is concerned, I am pretty much confused right now as I just had breakfast.

2 sunny side up, with melted cheese on top & a spread of mushrooms, with decaffeinated black coffee is great way to start my morning here. Struggling with sleepy eyes yesterday, I have completed my shopping list, which consist of several items for A.L! Look at this way, you buy a small something for an ulterior motive. Enough on that, he is my avid reader.

So the nails are freshly painted, the suitcase is packed, I guess I am ready to have a nap before I shuttle to another planet. Miss Jules I have updated on a LAN line.

I will be back soon to resume my duties as a mummy. Ignore the picture, these days Rain is capable of going to the loo himself. They say a picture paints a thousand words, I am not just a pretty mummy okay, I do change diapers (*rolled eyes*)

Meanwhile, I am the imaginary astronaut, fly me to the moon!

The world cup craze is back.

Even my hello kitty is having late hours watching the world cup!

S Korea & Japan looks good after their opening win, oh well I am not that keen in supporting the sepet boys this world cup season. They run with their eyes closed most of the time eh?!

Ya I know, I've been urging the nation to support local football, maybe I should root for the two asian teams too.

More teams to root for like Brazil, Argentina, Italy however A.L said, I can only choose one. Oh well, I can't seem to make up my mind.

Nevermind me, enjoy supporting your favourite team!!

Dear A.L, shall we guess the team who will win the world cup this year?

The loser shall buy an espresso machine & the winner will also have to buy the espresso machine!! It's a LOSE LOSE situation on your part. Am I clever?

Either way you have to buy me the espresso machine. Oh pretty please!!!!!

Coffee, cofffee or me? (ignore me)

My gendut gaga

Thursday, June 10, 2010

The Great Singapore Sale has begun, honestly I have not contributed much to our economy.

If you ask me, whether I have a long shopping list? I will say it consists of what I want & may not need. Kind of brainless, but who cares, you do not need great intelligence to create a shopping list!

It's hard dragging A.L to shop with me these days, it's either he lost his romantic appeal on how to please a woman, or he is ignoring the fact that his presence means footing the bill. I find it is quite charming sometimes, when a man pays. I don't know if the world agrees, but I do have my own logical explanation to this. Nevermind me.

Okay, either you decides to splurge on me or not, I will be your greatest nightmare for now on! I think, I am kidding.

As much as the women love to whine about their spouse, so does the men,

One good reason why we are not fb friends, or married virtually; we do our whinings our own seperate ways.

No offense, I find married to virtually, is kind of silly! I was questioned several times, whether we are still married, based on fb information. I am like duh, maybe I failed to realise that fb is the new ROMM.

Dear A.L I have been dreaming of having double shot espresso early in the morning with you. Problem is, the machine has to be made available to our convienience! Please grant me my wish, and oh yah the wishlist goes on!

Contradicting, I am. Ignore me world!

The conversation between Grandma (Nyai) & Rain.

Wednesday, June 02, 2010

I would say parenting is no easy task, obviously prior to this I have no basic experience. I thought motherly instinct will come instantly like maggi cup noodles.

I thought, I thought, I thought I saw a pussy cat!! What was I thinking, fly to the moon & hopes someone else does it for me?

Parenting is a shared responsibility & it's hard for me to get serious. I can sense Rain shows no fear towards me, but shows due respect to A.L. Respect has to be earned, I finally see some light in that sentence. I am still finding that path.

The boys find it humourous when I get angry, I should reconstruct my sentences to sound more serious! Maybe I am suited to simply be the "ministry of sound" like my sister described.

Nobody pays attention to my nagging actually. It's like music to the ears.

Thanks world for paying attention to me & my sound of music. Till I sing again in another entry.

The astronaut is counting days when she will be back on the moon. I do not seem enthusiastic at all. I probably buy some new make up to self motivate myself. Isn't that a great idea, a reason to shop!

My work differs from A.L, thanks to him I am always questioned about his industry. They worries more about his career life span than me, myself.

That is the one reason why my dreams as a tai tai was shattered. Can I opt for Hdb tai tai instead? Don't get me wrong, at the present moment, he is doing well, it's just heartbreaking spending his hard earned money when I know he is no Beckham! So I have to earn my own spending money can?

I guess when I have seen his ups & downs in his line of work, I regretted wasting his money back then. I believe it will be more beneficial in investing on Rain's future education.

Reality bites, for now I shall starve myself during these three days in order to fit into my astronaut suit.

One of the hazards of my job!!!!! I had a great weekend, time for me to check on my weight.

If you are wondering, what the A.L family is doing, look carefully. I believe some are very familiar with the activity that we are doing.

Yes, prawning, A.L suggested it. Initially I was not keen as I hate the waiting part for a catch. Patience do not seems like a virtue to me.

He handed me a rod & the yucky bait, so I said to myself why not I figure out what to do with it. I observed the boys & tried it out myself. It was much simpler than I thought.

My irritating sister sulked at the idea of prawning. She hates waiting.

Rain seems excited & he waited patiently & asked lots of question.

Remy who caught the first prawn of the day! Yipee!!!

Envious by the catch from the boys it was soon my turn! The feeling of the prawns getting caught was awesome!

Three hours did not feel like that long. I guess the company was fantastic & we did have fun.

Thanks to Chef Azaniah, we had a great "feel" of our catch at the end the day!

And we brought some back home too :)

Bad boy celebrates his 31st birthday. Time flies, it's been birthdays we have celebrated alone together or with families & friends.

I found a picture of us together, about 4 years when we were younger, bolder & beautiful. (tolong jangan muntah okay)

The past do bring wonderful memories, but I rather look forward for better moments in the near future. I don't live in the past.

So it's the 29th May 2010 0001hrs, A.L blew the candles.

Wishing the wonderful husband a happy 31st birthday. If the world sees you in my eyes, they can also see what a wonderful husband/father/friend you have been, thank you. Once again happy birthday to my dear bad boy.

The story continues;

The good boy who was assigned the task to carry the cake safely from point A to point B.

Remy is in total fear of dropping the box.

The whole gang who sang the birthday song. Oh birthday cake compliments from Azaniah thank you

Last but not least a picture of the pengantin us!

The very next day, my feet hurts so badly as though I have walked a thousand miles.

We did not walk a thousand miles, we danced to a thousand rhythm.

With great company, the night was fabulous.

During the stone age, if you are in your thirties you will be considered old. Correct me if I am wrong, now age is probably just numbers. You hate counting them & wonder who started the idea of putting candles on birthday cakes!

Honestly, I hate what I see in the mirrror, but it won't get any perfect every year when I blow off the candles.

The last time when I wanted to put on my bikini badly was when I was in my second trimester of my pregnancy wanting to go to Zouk out badly, in the end, silly me did not go or it will be disastrous!

Finally, I said to myself, who cares?! I ain't a superstar. I have learned to accept what I see in the mirror.

If only mirrors can produce honest answers, I shall ask on a daily basis, hoping for a different answer, every single day!

"Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the sexiest of them all?"

There was a great silence, Mr mirror refused to produce an honest answer as it might be too harsh for the sensitive soul.

So stop asking questions if you hate hearing the truth!

I ignored the truth, and I look forward to investing in more bikinis.

Time was well spent with loved ones these few days, I hope an update on my blue pokka dot bikini is not a disappointment.

I have more mak nenek stories to update, read me soon!

My sister always have some silly ideas for an outing, she suggested dirt bike this time!

Clad in jeans on Monday morning, we headed to Malaysia for a wild ride.

Oh yah!! Rain is not included.

"Rain ini helmet bicycle lah not motor!"

Mothers' day was great, with an impromptu getaway to Malaysia. It was at the very last minute when reservations were made.

Time flies so quickly, it's the third mothers' day I am celebrating, oh shall I use the word "we" instead.

Despite the fact that I am not a "stay at home mum", that doesn't mean Rain is discounted on love from his mummy.

Now that he is older (bigger in size), he understands when the astronaut needs to fly to the moon. I can see how happy Rain is when we spend family time together. It's priceless to see his smile & laughter.

I don't ask for gifts or flowers on this day, to have a complete family trip means a lot to me. I don't ask for holidays to Europe or America, just a trip, even to Malaysia makes me a very happy mummy!

So I am a happy mum on mothers day, someone used to say that "life is meaningless without a family"

I can see the truth in it, I am glad I have a family, my very own. It's been a long journey, thank you boys.

Mummy loves you.

Tuesday, May 04, 2010

I hardly get overly sensitive when the boys leave me out while I fly to the moon. Okay I am lying to my own self, isn't it obvious.

Minus the whispering acts, I am often left out in the boys activities cos the boys figure I rather sleep! Hey I am no tai tai here except the fact I am a self confessed Hdb tai tai wannabe, I work very hard to earn a living hokay. I guess I am not the only one eh, I should remind myself to sleep lesser.

This morning I looked out of the window, I did not see the Hdb multi storey carpark, I knew that home is not where I am.

In a comfort of the five star hotel, despite the luxury feeling, I felt something was missing.

Oh yes, I rather wake up looking at the Hdb multi storey carpark, hearing screaming & laughter from the boys. It has been 3 days, and the heart belongs at home.

The boys were having fun without the mummy! Sungguh tak fair dot com!!

On a brighter note, I will be back for mothers' day.

I called home & asked Rain, who he love most.

He whispered and said "mummy"!

Wonder why he whispered? Cos daddy was beside him!!!

Arghhhhhh!!!!

Daddy's boy! Seems like it.

Finally I find time to tell my life story. Today my story has no meaning.(takde makneyer) but the morale of the story, nothing taste better than your own mum's cooking even if it's only eggs, white rice & black sauce!

These days, Rain has a new friend, our neighbour Roshan.

Despite the fact I can't ride his bicycle due to weight limit, I have decided to play masak masak with the boys. I fried prawn keropok to feed the boys while they were playing outside.

For the fact I may not be a good cook, it melts my heart to hear my boy said this to his friend.

"My mummy masak best, come & eat!"

So dear world, I am more motivated to learn how to cook better just for my little boy even though it's just keropok eh!!
