The good old Khong Guan biscuits will never fail to disappoint me in any way.

I grew up with Khong Guan biscuits & hot Milo for teatime.

Today I manage to pacify a cranky boy with Khong Guan biscuits.

I am guilty as charged when it comes to dealing with Rain cranky swings.

I tempt him with goodies (very the salah), & that will explain you, the weight management part!

Honestly, nothing feels better than watching your little one stuffing goodies with such great joy!

Even if, it is only plain Khong Guan biscuits.

I thought of writing you a love letter and posting it to you but I realise, we share the same mailing address and it will be a waste of stamp.

OK that was lame.

My sweetheart has just turned 21 eh (okay that was a lie)

I was supposed to plan a surprise for you, but as usual I am well known for not being a good planner and so I will save it AGAIN for next year.

Even the part where I want to put Rain in a box as a gift did not work out eh, the box broke since he was too heavy! (I will get a bigger & stronger box next year okay)

The Italian Job

Recently, I was trying my best to cook some pasta.

Little did I realise the people in my house were very cautious to taste my so called fusion cooking!

I tried to be creative.

Let me recall an experience A.L had when he ate the pasta I specially cooked about 2 years ago.

After eating the pasta, he left for his training and during this period he had some allergic reaction!

He had rashes and his eyes were swollen.

Maybe he was allergic to the shrimps or maybe he was just allergic to MY COOKING.

Since then I stick to safer recipes given by my mother/1800-mum.

Oh well, these days the people in the house are getting smarter, whenever I cook,

Guess who will the victim of the food tasting?!

Of cos it is my darling Rain.

I bet Rain is the only one that appreciates my cooking heh!

Rain loves my pasta hokay.

Second thoughts, he eats anything that looks delicious.

(example will be my cooking, simply not shy sey!)

Anyway, birthday bells around the corner & I feel like cooking pasta for the birthday party.

The weighing scale has been out of sight from me.

I failed to realise that the iconic clothier has been the greatest measuring tape for the body!

Even the thread count is no longer friendly to the body.

And yet dieting is still out of my daily plan.

And yet I do complain all the time.

It has become a favourite question/phrase.

" Am I fat? "

For those who have answered my question most of the time,

oh well I thank you for your patience and understanding.

My point is, I am only woman.

Yes I am guilty of complaining about weight most of the time.

When metabolism rate is no longer your bff, you start worrying,

who doesn't want to look beautiful from the outside.

For a change let me try to look beautiful from the inside?

They say you are what you eat.

Let me revise my diet plan.

1. '' Choose to hear ONLY the beautiful stuff. '' - eat only food with good nutritions.

2. '' Learning to forgive and forget. '' - detox, clear the toxins!

seems to be in my plan.

A.L sings to me most of the nights accompanied by some music from his mobile.

He asked me why I do not blog his sensational voice. (as if)

Dear A.L you may not be a rock star, but you do rock my world/ears.

The imperfect tunes, seems like beautiful melodies to my ears.

(I am a pro in selective hearing)

There are times when his voice simply do not lead me to wonderland,

and how I wish I can press MUTE and have some peace and quiet.

However, I failed to realise the imperfect tunes indicate the presence.

Who have sung me beautiful love songs to me through these years :)

I strongly believe the basic necessity in life

At this point of time, I notice the Earth has plenty of SALEs to look forward to.

I said no to spending unnecessarily for a change.

Another journey to the moon story.

Another reason why I badly need a camera, (desperation)

is because the moon is filled with beautiful cherry blossoms.

So I am suppose to capture some pictures kan.

A valid reason I suppose!!!

So the two jakuns leaped with joy,

jumping up high in order to touch the cherry blossoms! (merepek sey)

It is not everyday we get to see the cherry blossoms, mind you.

We are there at the right time and of cos the with the right company :)

As the world would have guessed one possible reason,

why I may not be in a mood to blog,

is because I do not possess my dream camera!

Oh no, probably the hot weather that leaves me moody or not at all inspired

I was at the verge of chopping my long dry hair due to the climate!

But short hair is a no no for me.

I wish I have the guts!

While I say no to cutting of my hair.

Rain decided (bedek, daddy yang decide) to have his head shaved.

When he was about to be our Singapore own stlylo mylo Marcell,
(ok Marcell dah botak kan :P)

Daddy decided to send him to the hairdresser for a revamp.

Honestly not many will look good with the Afro look.

Oh well my Rain would probably look HOT. (ignore me I sungguh not shy)

So what is the latest hair cut this season?

Seems like, Rayn has become a victim of daddy's hair experiment.

I won't be surprised if both turns blonde one fine day!

The affair I had with you was beautiful.

Despite the fact the relationship was only over one year.

my red Sony camera was the affair!!

Since my sony camera is in the state of shock and has malfunctioned.

I seriously believe that I deserve a new camera.

However I am still in search of a sponsor.

Oh I am back with my silly mak nenek stories to get you intoxicated.

One happy day, I had a date with A.L.

Surprisingly ''Confessions of a shopaholic'' was the movie choice by him!

And I thought girlfriends (trying to mimic Fiza O) would be the the appropriate candidates to catch the movie with.

Oh well at least he now understands my hallucinations of display mannequins waving at me.

So ladies we are not insane after all.

Picturing a perfect potrait

So the world missed me for the past 12 days or more.

Or have I missed the world instead?

Fellow readers and friends, the moon may not provide previous day issues of the local newspapers,

however I am pretty well updated on the local news.

To be honest I am more interested in the real world. (macam paham jer)

My blog is meant for light reading with a touch of slight humour (I should think so),

This is no information counter.

I don't provide any!

Some news are worth our attention.

Some are just to fill in the columns.

I do believe the global recession is pushing millions into poverty.

News on, people killing each other;

Homeless people;

Hungry children;

and the list goes on.

Reading the news can be rather depressing.

We failed to appreciate, we are blessed in Singapore.

There are so many issues to take notice.

Oh now you know why I suggested flying to the moon.

Oh yah I did mention the outer space is cold, (my imaginary)

And Singapore is humid, so skimpy clothes are my first choice. (eh takde makna kan)

Everyone has different choices.

Mine may differ from yours.

Some may be interested to educate others to impart their two Singapore dollars worth of advises.

It is probably their nature to be overly concerned.

On a brighter note, the world comprises of different kinds of people.

And these wannabe educators are just a small percentage!

Oh well they can be a pain.

I was not mentally prepared!

Yes world, I flew to the moon (whatever) for the past 12 days.

And of cos, I could not help missing my blog little Rain! (talking about my gendut not the weather)

For once, I was also missing my king size bed & duvet plus the person I am sharing the bed with . (oh its the husband :P!)

12 days seems like forever I was away.

Sigh! So there goes 12 days of my life.

The down to earth story?

So despite the fact,

the roads on earth is no longer safe at times.

I am one human, who definitely loves Earth!

And I am here to stay!

Need I repeat myself?

Yes, because Earth is filled with fun loving people.

I met up with the gorgeous witches of Eastwick.(careful they are in Singapore)

You may ask me why I called them the witches??!!

Don't worry they are modern witches, technically they do not cast spells.

They are hot, vain & trendy just like Sabrina the teenage witch.( I am not too sure about the teenage part though!)

They kind of make Rain cry, not all of them, to be exact and I would love to point the finger at, and it will be Farah!

"Rain, I am sure Aunt Farah loves you, she just can't get enough of your tummy and tee tees!" (Farah ---> Mak Jam is aware of what you did last summer to Rain!)

Nonsense aside.

We met up for greens!

Norfa and me almost become a kambing hokay, thanks to Yana who was/is on a diet!

However clever Norfa and me choose pasta instead. It was just substantial for us :P.

World please tell Yana, dieting is unnecessary, especially when Norfa/Zanna is on a food spree! ( ape jer tau Yana, how thin do you want to be?)

So the ladies talk over yummy greens & pastas.

We are all pretty excited for Norfa's baby shower & I am going to miss it!

Sorry Norfa, I was suppose to meet you to pass you the little present I got for you but we were involved in a little accident!

When was the last time I blogged about local football?

Sports section is the best to flip at when grabbing the local papers.

I am not that inclined to sports however the remaining sections can be rather depressing these days.

I am talking about the economic crisis.

It is really hitting the nation & worldwide!

Okay now I want to fly back to the moon :P

While I try to reframe myself from impulsive shopping.

There are cost cutting measures to choose from & seriously now it is a great time for family bonding!

I have my own cost cutting plan so that I can be a part of the kiasu Singaporeans.

Do take note: This do not apply to all, as some are still keen in contributing to the economy!

For now, I attain great happiness in doing stuff that do not cost a bomb! (macam paham jer)

Number one will be.

- Watch my playlist of series on my Smart TV.

2. Tell my endless mak nenek stories through blogging. I will have plenty of time to blog not brag eh.

3. Try to entertain myself through Pet Society (In fact I am getting bored)

4. Doing daily housework while listening to the O show, instead of out there shopping.

5. Have karaoke sessions at home, singing all the Barney Songs. I keep Rain entertained you know!

6. Dance with Rain on the platform (Rain's imaginary stage which is our wooden coffee table) at home while we sip to the Lychee Syrup added with ice & water using a martini glass.

Last but not least SUPPORT LOCAL FOOTBALL.

I am getting closer to my point!

Support the S League team close to your neighbourhood.

Come on down and support them!

The tickets are not expensive & you can yell at them without people thinking you are insane.

Good therapy!

As for me I will be supporting the SAF warriors as they qualify for the Asia's top club tournament plus not forgetting the S-League games.

It is historical as SAF is the first Singapore Club ever to qualify.

My dearest A.L contributed to the winning goal to qualify during the extra time. Well done.

This will not happen without the effort of the whole team takkan A.L tendang bola sorang kan!

The boys deserve to embark to the next level.

To be honest, people are expecting the team to get thrashed during this tournament playing with top clubs from Japan, Korea & China.

I am more optimistic. Who knows! Really you will never know.

So do support local football.

Rain & I will be watching okay.

Since I cannot contribute a bundle to the our nation retail economy.

I may as well contribute to the crowd in the local football scene.

The Full Moon Story

I flew to the moon & decided to go back to earth again.

Cos I figure, earth is not that bad after all.

Provided they are filled with fun loving people like ------>

"GIRLFRIENDS" (trying to mimic Fiza O from the O show)

Yes I am a big fan of the O show!

Like I have said, Tini is super blessed with great girlfriends who dotes on her.

So we did a meet up with hers & mine.

And we found out we have so much to talk about dramatic issues!!!

If you figuring it out, we were talking about TV series.

I was of cos bragging about my SMART TV. (so passe kan)

With this I will not miss any series, and I can record my shows & choose to watch according to my timing.

If the world failed to notice, besides sharing my king size bed with A.L (kidding eh)

I do have to share the plasma with RAIN!!!!

I told you the boys always get what they want!

I seems to be secondary heh.

With Smart TV I become the SMART one eh.

(okayla confession, it was Sheila who bugged me to change my set up box)

And of cos A.L who has to foot the extras!

As for me, I just have to enjoy it!

The Wasabi Story

Being the only princess in the family, I thought I may have the privilege of the gentlemen waiting for me.

So untrue!!!

What happens to "Patience is a virtue!"

Seems like it no longer existed when it comes to my turn getting ready, obviously!

These days they are getting impatient with me.

Trust me, I am no killer- heels-dressed-to-kill type of mummy.

I just need a little more time to paste my false lashes on.
(not again! bear with me?)

So I had to forgo the idea.

No to false lashes, when hunger strikes!!!

Rain played "the fainting game" cos he needed carbo loading!

He cannot wait!

Not even for the little princess in the family!

It beats me that he took my sister's sling bag to go out.

Obviously there was nothing in it!

It will be greatly appreciated if he could dump some diapers in it heh!!

Seriously he cannot wait!!

So, Japanese was the menu for the day, for the "anone" wanabe boys!
